The term 'revenge porn' does not fully reflect the crime's scope, motivation, nature, or impact on victims.
Image-based sexual abuse (IBSA) is a severe and pervasive form of sexual abuse.
Understanding the many different forms of ISBA, the laws (and lack thereof) designed to protect victims, and the extent of harm suffered by the victim, is critical to address the impact of this crime.
